Edition and Translation of Kṣitigarbha’s Daśatattvasaṃgraha

Sabine Klein-Schwind is working on a critical edition and an annoted English translation of Kṣitigarbha’s Daśatattvasaṃgraha. Only a single witness of this work survives. It belongs to the exegetical literature on the Guhyasamājatantra within the Jñānapāda tradition, and extensively quotes related texts such as Dīpaṃkarabhadra’sGuhyasamājamaṇḍalavidhi.

At present, there is no Tibetan translation available of Kṣitigarbha’s Daśatattvasaṃgraha. However, in the bsTan ’gyur, there are other texts dealing with the same subject matter, such as Ḍombī’s daśatattva and sLob-dPon rGyan-Pa’s daśatattva. Since the latter is very close to Kṣitigarbha’s text, it will also be edited and translated in the framework of this project.
