The Hevajra literature in India
A long-term project of CTS director Harunaga Isaacson concerns the Hevajratantra and its Indian commentaries, and the practices and traditions connected to this important yoginītantra.
Several publications are under preparation as part of this research project, including a long paper titled ‘A collection of Hevajrasādhanas and related works in Sanskrit’ (forthcoming in the Annali dell’Istituto Universitario Orientale di Napoli); editions of a number of unpublished Hevajra texts; and a volume on Ratnākaraśānti’s teachings connected with the Hevajra-cycle.
